At a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of HAMLIN, Monroe County, New York, held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in said Town on the 3rd day of August 2022, at 7:45 p.m. EST

An Order and Resolution Authorizing the amendment to the Bond amount to pay for the cost of the Establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District 1 in said Town of Hamlin.
WHEREAS, on February 24, 2021, the Town of HAMLIN Board did pass a resolution approving the issuance of $395,000.00 bond for the specific object or purpose of paying the cost of improvements in connection with the establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District 1, consisting of the installation of as described in the engineer’s report prepared in connection therewith, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Finance Law; and
WHEREAS, after the bids were received and reviewed the actual cost of the costs for improvements in connection with the establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District 1 had increased by an additional Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00); and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the amount of the bond from Three Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($395,000.00) to Six Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($645,000.00) for issuance for the purpose of paying the cost of improvements in connection with the establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District 1; and
WHEREAS, a resolution having been adopted by the Town Board on July 18, 2022, calling for a hearing of all interested persons in the matter on August 3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1107 W. Fork Lake Road, Hamlin, New York 14464, and due notice of said hearing having been given by publication and posting, and a hearing by the said Board having been duly held at 6:00 p.m. on August 3, 2022 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1107 W. Fork Lake Road, Town of Hamlin, Monroe County, and it being duly
FOUND, ORDERED AND RESOLVED, that it is necessary to increase the amount to be bonded for the specific object or purpose of paying the cost of improvements in connection with the establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District 1, consisting of the installation of as described in the engineer’s report prepared in connection therewith from Three Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($395,000.00) to Six Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($645,000.00)
ORDERED AND RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby is authorized to amend the amount to be bonded for the specific object or purpose of paying the cost of improvements in connection with the establishment of the Lakeshore Sewer District, consisting of the installation of as described in the engineer’s report prepared in connection therewith from Three Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($395,000.00) to Six Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($645,000.00)
ORDERED AND RESOLVED that, pursuant to Town Law § 90 and 91, within ten (10) days from the date of this resolution, the Town Clerk, in the same manner as provided for notice of a special election, shall post and publish a notice which shall set forth the date of adoption of this resolution, shall contain an abstract of such resolution concisely setting forth the purpose and effect thereof, shall specify that this resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum; and shall publish such notice in the official Town newspaper having general circulation in the Town, and in addition thereto that the Town clerk shall post or cause to be posted on the sign-board of the Town and the Town website, a copy of such notice within ten (10) days after the date of the adoption of this resolution.
